Caribbean Marina and Gas Dock

We were so looking forward to our visit. We went Saturday July 1st at noon. The place was not busy which is very unusual for a Holiday weekend on the lake. The Service was good. Very friendly. However the food was not good. I ordered a Chicken Caesar wrap. It was dry. Hardly any chicken in the wrap. Filled with shredded lettuce. The chicken was in super small cubes. No flavor! The Fries were ok. My boyfriend ordered the 2 Cheese burgers. They were way over cooked! Super dry. We suspect they were premade. We enjoyed sitting on the dock. We appreciated the friendly staff. But the food was less than par. So disappointing!

I would give it zero stars if I could, stay far far away from the food on the menu. I was in party of three during mid day on Saturday, place was not crowded and dock slip service excellent. Got our table and ordered drinks which took a while to arrive but all good. Two of us found something interesting to order, one ordered a chicken sandwich and I ordered a brisket sandwich. Chicken was tasteless according to dinner friend. I was first brought a chicken sandwich but told them I ordered a brisket sandwich with fries. They brought out a BBQ pork sandwich with cole slaw which was a combination of grisly pork and a cut up pork sausage. It was so bad it was beyond complaining about, the thought they would present this as brisket is beyond belief/credibility. Stay far far away from this place, I thought the old Caribbean was average but this place is worse.

We rolled in just before closing, and the staff and ownership did everything to make our visit wonderful!! We ordered our food, and they delivered to our location. Perfect food, great burgers and we love the buns!!! Thank you for a great experience while watching a gorgeous lake minnetonka sunset.

The staff and service was impeccable! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Relaxing environment and Great Lake views. Food was fresh, hot and ready in a reasonable time! Look forward to making this a weekend hang out!

After seeing the updates and expanding food menu, we finally decided to give The Caribbean a shot today for dockside takeout. We called in our order around noon on this beautiful Sunday and expended a long wait time. 15 minutes they told us which was fantastic! We ordered the tiki burger and a grilled chicken salad. We were blown away by the quality and flavors of the food. Everything seemed so fresh and was absolutely delicious. We are sick of the overpriced ‘heat lamp specials’ at Fletchers and Maynards and are happy to say this will be our new go-to for dockside to go food. Keep up the great work and we look forward to coming back again soon!
