Cape Pointe Marina

Great place with friendly owner. Water is pretty skinny at low tide. Expect 1.5 ft. In some spots on the way out of the marina at low tide. Still made it in and out with my 19.5 ft. cc.

Great service great prices and I launch my boat there

Normally, I have a great experience with Cape Pointe Marina, but today I'm disappointed. Paid my normal $15 ramp fee. Backed the boat into the water, unloaded it from the trailer, then pulled the boat into a slip to wait for my son and wife to board the vessel. My son had to go inside and use the restroom because he said that he wasn't feeling well. He ended up having an upset stomach with nausea and diarrhea. My wife and I decided to go back to the house, but first wanted to let the staff know that we didn't get to leave the slip and why we weren't able to go out on the water. Maybe I'm expecting too much from someone who is normally very friendly, and eager to help you get your rig in and out of the water, but he didn't offer to give us our $15 ramp fee back. We were there 15-20 minutes max and never left the marina! Granted, I didn't ask for a refund, but where's the common sense from the small businessman? Technically, I did use the ramp. But once again where's the common sense of the small businessman? Not so sure that I'll be doing business at Cape Pointe Marina again.......and my son didn't even make a mess in the restroom!

We love the cape point marina. My family owns a camper and we come down here several times a year. It's a fisherermans place to go! Great view of the ocean a beach right beside it for my wife and kids and a short boat ride out for me and my brother to go fishing in the hook. It's a great place!
