Very nice place to launch a boat

OK launch. Not for bigger boats due to shallow mill pond and low bridge you have to go under to get to the lake. A lot of weeds. The $7 fee would be better spent at another launch. The Only reason I use it as it is near where I live.

This boat launch is located right in the city of Green Lake and gives access to Big Green Lake through the back water of Puchyan river, which some now refer to as the Hattie Sherwood pond. In any case this is a shallow somewhat murky part of the lake. Boater will need to navigate under a low bridge to access the rest of Big Green Lake via Dartford bay. On the plus side, the water is almost always calm and the launch is primarily local fishermen in smaller boats.
