C & C Marine Boat Service

Took my boat to Craig for a engine rebuilt and pay 7K for it. I got the boat after 4 months and when the spring came 2023 the boat wouldn't turn on. I call him and he said to bring it back because it was under warranty is almost a year now and Craig still has my boat and won't answer my calls or messages. Worst experience please stay away. At this point I'm just going to file a police report.

I want to start off by saying that I have read all of the negative comments on this business and went into this with my eyes wide open. I had Craig winterize my boat and fix an electrical issue. It took longer than expected to get to my boat but that's OK, considering I saved a little money on winter storage. When the boat was done, I looked inside the console and found some things out of place. A wire exposed and some drainage lines unhooked. But it was a simple matter to point out to Craig and he corrected the issues on the spot. I also had a ground wire break off my trailer somehow (notices while hooking up) and he came out and fixed that properly. Basically if I had not given a once over, I may have been left with a bad feeling of the experience, however being open with Craig allowed him to correct anything that I had concerns with. He genuinely conveyed a sense of willingness to satisfy my concerns and did so without any hesitation or questions.

Please do not use this mechanic! We paid him to do work on our motor and after getting the boat from him we started it one time and the motor caught on fire. The fire destroyed our boat and some of our personal property. He also had our boat for a few months because he was waiting on a part and he did not cover the boat properly which destroyed our seats that were brand new. We just installed new carpet which was covered in oil and dirt.

here's my experience. had craig do some work on exterior of boat. gel and upholstery. most might expect this project to take a bit of time. maybe up to a year. well five and a half years later finally got it back. but that's not the worst of it. the entire cuddy cabin had completely rotted out likely from not being protected at all. the wiring where the batteries go was just left a mess. since I didn't use his. took me 4 months to fix the wiring as well as the interior cabin. also when I got it back. come to find a lot of missing stuff. no anchor. climb he just forgot to put it in the boat no bimini. when asked. he finally confessed he gave it to some random person. missing a cushion. speakers all missing claims my ac unit didn't work. so he tossed it just all around horrible experience. and I'm still finding more damage I have to fix.

Great service, good work. Just called the guy this morning to get some motor work done and the guy gave me a couple things to check before I spent my money. Worked on my motor two years ago putting in a new water pump, never had any problems since, work was done in a professional and timely manner. I will keep going there with any of my marine problems.
