Buckaloons Boat Ramp

They need a bigger sign pointing to the boat ramp from in the river, the current is quicker and I've seen a bunch of ppl miss it including myself. We pay to park there at least get us a sign that the trees don't cover

Great spot we use almost every year! You can back your truck right to the water

We haven't camped or used the recreation are here yet. The boat ramp was perfect for launching our kayaks though. DON'T forget your $5 to pay for parking. Even better, if you frequent National Parks you can buy an annual pass for $80 from their website. It covers parking fees for a vehicle with up to 3 occupants 16 and older. I believe it covers most other day fees. Camping and other fees are NOT included though.

There are some walking trails nearby too.

Beautiful walking place. Dirt trail and pavement along the river. Only a 4 because you have to park on road and walk in or pay 5 bucks to park
