Good little boat ramp. Great for canoes, kayaks, and rafts at any level. Good for larger boats when the gauge is high enough.

Easy access for any watercraft. Large park to walk the dog. Nice river views with benches.

Great place to drop your canoes or kayaks in the James River. Local guides and other river enthusiasts available for information. Convenience store across the street. Also, 3 person maximum span bridge nearby.

I've lived in Buchanan before, and when I went here, I was honestly surprised I'd never been down before! It's such a great spot for outdoors activities and fun for the whole family, and I can't recommend it enough!
