CONSIGNMENT SALE EXPERIENCE: dropped my boat off in January to have them detail it. They said they'd make an offer and/or give me consignment options too. In February, after calling maybe 10 times to reach Ian (he was "too busy with other customers") he offered me a deal to buy boat. March, could never get Ian on the phone. In April, still waiting for this deal to finalize, he pulled out. I ended up driving up there myself to get my boat. Terrible customer service, never got around to detailing, and didn't follow thru on deal.

Hey Ian and Mr Brown. were you threatening me today about a transaction we did? You’re Going to send a picture of a check I gave you to my local tax office as if I was dishonest and didn’t report the full price of the sale? Good luck! UPDATE: State of Florida found Ian Browns statement about me not paying taxes to be false and closed their case. Hi Selling me a boat with problems and lying to me about proper registrations because I am from Florida is what you did. Am I lying about that? I don’t think so. You didn’t tell me about the trim leaking either, that’s going to be expensive and I might be in touch with you about that as well. A bunch of liars. That’s what you are. UPDATE: I reported these liars to the authorities in Florida (because they lied about my transaction and tried to deceive a Florida Taxing Authority (illegal). I also reported them to the State of Georgia Business license authority. Ian, get ready. You’ll be hearing from both. These guys are dishonest as it comes. See you in court for the boat repair reimbursement you owe me.

I've known Ian Brown since he first started his business working his way through College. Brown's has been detailing my boats ever since. From a 32' Suntracker pontoon to a Tracker Bass Boat to a19-2 Sea Era to this year his work on a total redo of a 16/48 Tracker Grizzly from Duck Boat to a 65 hp Mercury outboard Jet drive river boat. I called Brown's Boat Detailing this summer to get my 24 ft cobalt cleaned up before selling it. They were very polite, and did an outstanding job! Ian was also able to sell my boat for me for more than I was expecting. Overall I couldn't be happier and will be using them from now on for my next boat.
