Brown Road Boat Ramp

Nice little launch, 1 ramp, courtesy dock

It's a nice place to just sit talk and watch the boats go by. Bring some food and relax. And of course you can fish from here as well.

Maintenance is marginal. The ramp and environs feel grubby. We went to see the sunset over the lake, which was spectacular. It didn't need county maintenance.

Nice place to launch kayaks, not a ton of boat traffic, and it's close enough to paddle over to Darwin H. Wright Park and swim if you want. There are a couple spots to explore if you go left of the ramp we saw several turtles and a blue heron

Very nice place. So nice it should get an upgrade to expand the parking area and add a second ramp. I think more people would visit/recommend this place if they knew they had somewhere to park or didn't have to wait in line to get their boat in/out of the water. But still a nice place to go for boating/fishing etc. I've visited several times and every time it's been impressive. Clean.
