Broening Park Boat Ramp

First time ever being her and I've lived n more my whole life. What a treat.!! Attention night its its amazingly romance. 💋💋🌄

It was confusing to find the boat ramp because you drive through the hospital parking lot. The area is not very clean and there is not a public rest room. The boat ramps are reasonably well kept, but the dock was home to some individuals who were drinking and disruptive when we were there. It was relatively easy to launch our 17 foot boat here.

Not a bad spot to launch very close to downtown Baltimore. Lots of folks fishing from the dock but seemed to understand what boats need to do as they launch and retrieve. Parking was good, plenty of spaces. Was there mid day on a busy Saturday so hard to say how it is at off hours.

Nice spot to bring your girl and talk on the water very peaceful and quiet

I came to this boat ramp to launch my PWC. Its literally the closest ramp to my home in Silver Spring, so I thought that I would give it a try. The accessibility from I-95 is great -- its literally about 5 minutes from getting off I-95 at the 2nd to the last exit before the tunnel. The boat launch is literally in the parking lot for Harbor Hospital. There are two ramps, which could theoretically support two lanes. Debris (wood, trash) filled up one lane at each ramp. Unfortunately, there are no cleats or anywhere to temporarily tie up. In some cases, the wood holding up the walkways is rather rotten and in dangerous shape. The parking lot is very very full of pot-holes. The pluses are that the ramp is about the closest Chesapeake ramp from the DC area. The downside is the maintenance of the ramp and adjacent parking area is poor and in disrepair. But, hey, the price is right (free).
