The starter broke on my MerCruiser 3 L, actually snapped both bolts off. Took it in to see Brent and Jeremy. They pulled out the motor, drilled out the leftover bolt pieces and then attach a new starter. They also adjusted the new carburetor I had just installed. Great guys. Thank you for doing a great job.

Don’t read the good reviews, they’re fake!! DO NOT GO TO AQUA MARINE BOAT REPAIR!!!Let’s start with our boat almost sank 5 miles out in the ocean because of the work Brent and his mechanic did on our boat!! The work performed was originally supposed to be replacing the shift cable to outdrive but after he looked at it he said it was just an exhaust flap putting pressure on the linkage and it was a quick fix. Yet he charged me just about the same amount as if he had replaced the $150 quoted shift cable. I was just happy to get my boat fixed so I didn’t question the charges and I even tipped him $20 I was not feeling well when I went back to pick up our boat and just hitched up and drove it home. When I got home I discovered they had scratched a good amount of paint off and also dinged paint off numerous spots of the outdrive that had literally just been stripped, primer’d and painted, new decals and skid pads, new hydraulics and cables. All brand new within the month before he worked on it!!! Then I get in the boat which has perfect immaculate white seats and find that his mechanic wiped and smeared grease everywhere he touched, especially across the back seat in front of the engine hatch. It took 3 cleanings to get the black grease out of the seams and stitching of the seats, ridiculous! The boat sat for the last 3 months due to health issues. So, we finally get it trailered all the way to California from Vegas and our trip is ruined because the shift cable bellows is broken loose and water is pouring in the boat, which we only found out after we were out to sea!!! Thank god the bilge pumps work and no power issues or our boat would’ve sunk. I go to Aqua Marine and talk to Brent about it today, a week after our trip and 3 months after he did the work. He looks at the boat and says the shift bellows was rotted and had nothing to do with the work he did even tho the work he did was specifically dealing with the shift cables. He fully denies the paint scrapes as well as the grease on the seats and also says that the bellows had nothing to do with what he worked on. Brent starts getting overly heated and mad that I’m accusing him of not doing a good job that he’s raising his voice at me now. I kept very calm and said I didn’t want this to get elevated but he said it’s too late now it’s already elevated. I further tried to calm him down in a soft voice but he turned and stepped into me as if he was going to hit me in the face. I told him to go ahead and hit me at which point he realized he was about to throw his life into turmoil and told me to get the F off his property numerous times. I may file with the local police as he was on camera threatening me like that. As well as talking to a lawyer and small claims against him for his shoddy work that could’ve killed us! Im really upset that he did bad work and at the very least if didn’t break that bellows(which is highly unlikely) a good mechanic would have pointed out a rotted bellows and say you should replace this while we’re doing the work! Not a good business! Now these guys respond to my review trying to make themselves look good with lies!! I got there at the end of day to pick up our boat and Brent definitely did not offer to go over anything they did, AT ALL, he just wanted to get me signed out and gone as if I was keeping them there even though it wasn’t closing time yet! He was going over paper receipts in his junkyard of an office, yes paper receipt, they do not use any modern technology like computers… just walking on their property is a health and safety concern!!! Brent knows his mechanic scraped paint off my outdrive and is a liar plain and simple!! And if 3 months is enough time for your boat to degrade, hahaha! DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS! MORE PROBLEMS THAN YOU ARRIVED WITH AND TO POSSIBLY EVEN GET THREATENED AND KICKED OFF THEIR PROPERTY! And as I stated on the phone to Brent after we left(after being threatened) that he was being recorded the entire time, video from my cellular camera in truck to the voice memos recording on my phone. My dad first took our boats into Aqua Marine 25 years ago and since then several boats . Inboards, outboards . Always great prompt service . 20 plus years ago it was Kenny the owner . I recently took my new older boat in as a second generation and needed upper and lower unit oil , oil and a tune up . Turns out the boat had water in the oil . Most shops would Of assumed a head gasket or an engine crack . Brent “Kennys Son, who has taken over the operations “ diagnosed is as water that must ov entered thu other than the main engine . Turns out it was from other sources as the boat sat for over two years before I bought . 1998 Wellcraft Excel . Same day service and very professional and reasonable. Being an older boat we launched and had water coming in from the shift Cable Bellow and hard to shift . Once again same day service and professional and reasonable . Thanks to Brent for the wonderful service ! While I was Paying they hooked up my boat and off to the lake I went ! Thanks to Brent and all the. Stall at Aqua Marine !!!

Brent and his team took great care of us. Was having some noise in my outdrive and he replaced the prop shaft with a very quick turnaround. I brought the boat back a few days later because I thought it was still making an odd noise and he had us fire it right up in front of him and his team and they explained the noise to us and that it was normal. (was a noise we just never noticed previously). We will definitely bring our boat back to him and the team when any other issues arise. They were very honest with us on the repairs and did a great job!

Brent and Kenny were awesome. I had a problem last year not knowing what was wrong I went to a shop. They told me what was wrong then I took it to Kenny and they found the problem(not what was mentioned) and also found I had a leak around the bell housing on the transom. They got it all fixed. Great job guys. I've noticed a big difference this year with the boat. Thank you much!! I'll be back again.
