Shop tried to rip me off. Brought my boat in for a no power under load situation. They diagnosed and stated that I had 2 dead cylinders with water in both. They changed spark plugs for $450 total with diagnosis and told me that water returned afterwards and cylinders were still not firing after new spark plugs. Also stated that I had a lot of water in my oil. They wanted to do 3 oil changes at $180 each to ensure all the water was flushed out. Insisted that I had a more serious problem with water in the cylinders and oil and wanted $600 more after the $450 to do a top end tear down on my engine to find out where the water was coming from. I declined the tear down and brought my boat to a different shop. When picking the boat up he insisted that I pay cash because he was scared that I would dispute the $450 charge knowing what he was trying to do and made an excuse saying his credit card machine was down. Brought boat to a new shop and they immediately did a leak down test after what I told them boats r us diagnosed it with and found all cylinders to have ONLY 4 percent loss which is basically perfect and confirmation of an engine in great condition. There was no water in the cylinders. There was no water in my oil. Dip stick showed perfectly clean oil on it. New shop did leak down test, checked timing and adjusted the carb and performed a water test and the boat ran perfectly. No issues. So spark plugs and carb adjustment fixed the problem. Boats r us told me id probably be looking at $2400 in valve and cylinder head work on top of the $600 tear down charge. Unbelievable how dishonest this place was. Beware of this guy.

Avoid this place at all cost!!! Doesn’t have any contracts. If you put down a deposit for storage and decide to go elsewhere they will make you pay the full storage before they will give you back your trailer. Cops were called and said “ not the first time they have been call out for similar situations.” They said the guy is a shady businessman! Avoid Avoid Avoid!

At the end of last boating season we set up to have our boat stored with the business with the understanding they would be able to work on boat while in storage. They did not start even start working on boat until well after the boating season started and ended up not getting the boat back until 7/5. When the boat was picked up they told us that everything on the boat had been checked and it ran perfect. Upon taking the boat out we started having the same problem we originally brought it in for. We talked to Greg and we’re told to bring the boat back in and they would take care of us and get it all figured out. Apparently being taking care of means being charged a ridiculous amount of money for diagnosis and repair of something that should and could have been checked while it was there the first time. Not only did they not stand behind their work it took an additional 3 weeks for the small repair and most of the remainder of the season was lost. I would not recommend this business to anyone. We are over $7,000 in repairs between storage and repairs and it’s not guaranteed that everything is perfect. The boat isn’t even 9 years old. They were asked on multiple occasions to let me know the exact hours and they never did. Beyond frustrated! The suggestion for if we ever sold this boat was to list it as “sold as is”, which essentially means that there is no guarantee on their work.

These guys brought my boat back to life. The process did take alot of time but I'm happy with their work. They did what other boat shops said couldn't.

Unprofessional, says they won't install genuine Merc parts unless you buy from them because of liability, but they're not even a genuine Mercruiser dealer. Liars and greedy, also will hang up then call you back to harass and intimidate for calling them out on their dishonesty. If you value service and price consideration, avoid at all costs.
