Boatman Boats & Upholstery

I had my boat re upholstered last year by Dallas at Boatman Boats & Upholstery. I've used the boat this past weekend which was only the second time its been on the water since it been re upholstered. I reached out to Dallas to "schedule a date and time" because I needed some repairs made due to poor craftsmen's ship. I was told " we're currently working for the next 4 weeks on rental boats form lake pleasant, I have no openings. Text message attached from Dallas. I lost a cushion because screws were left our of the hinged seats. All the armrest are loose and falling off and you would think for $7,500.00 he would have replaced and rotten wood that he encountered. It is what it is live and learn I would not recommend this guys to anyone. he had no problem taking my deposit then missing the original deadline.

I’m very dissapointed in Dallas. Love the boat we bought from him but he is lousy doing customer service. We called him when the storm damaged the canaopy of the boat. He said he would swing by on a Wednesday. Never showed up. I’m still wondering what Wednesday he is coming. My husband Paul kept calling him and said he was at the doc to pick up the boat. My sick husband tried to do Dallas job taking the boat to him and husband got very sick and ended up in the hospital. Thanks to Dallas for failing to do your job. We called him again and was very rude to my husband . I hope Dallas doesn’t treat others like he treated us and it’s a shame.

Dallas (the Boatman) is the best! Recently moved to a lake community and really wanted a small (16') pontoon boat. One of the other homeowners on the lake recommended Dallas and I went and talked to him. Great guy, easy to work with, very fair and reasonable and his boats are made with the highest quality. Dallas helped me with the style liked best. He also provided options for seating upholstery, paint schemes and topper. I LOVE my new pontoon boat. These guys are the best!

These guys do very high quality work and they stand behind it with a great warranty. Dallas was very easy to work with and easy to get in touch with to help answer any questions we had, before and after our purchase. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a quality boat at a fair price. The boat gets a lot of looks and compliments at our lake. Couldn’t be happier!

Dallas and Boat Man Boats was great! He came over the same day I called and fixed our boat. Dallas was professional, efficient and very knowledgeable. He shared a lot of information with us about boat ownership (we are new owners, so we had lots of questions). Dallas provided outstanding customer service and cared about us. I Highly recommend, A+++ rating!
