Boater's World Marine Centers - Williamsburg

Tony and his staff were very professional, responsive, and dedicated to performing with perfection. We had an unexpected problem while transiting from CT to the Bahamas. Tony got us pulled and worked closely with us to address our problem immediately during a busy time of the year for them. He even gave us a ride to a local hotel ! I can't thank them enough for making a stressful experience tolerable; making it possible to join our group for our passage over the Gulf stream (that's another story!) Thank you everyone!

I own multiple boats and am constantly in need of parts and other miscellaneous maintenance items. Most of the time, I’m not even sure what I need. That’s where Tony comes in. He knows exactly what the issue is and leads me in the right direction in a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional way. Everyone at this location is friendly and helpful, Tony is clearly leading by example and it shows. Will recommend to everyone at my yacht club.

We have had our boat at York River Yacht Haven for 10+ years. We had work done by the former yard employees that was sub-par at best and dreaded going to the yard again for work. That has completely changed with the new ownership by Boater's World and their staff! Yard manager Tony communicated clearly and takes ownership and pride in his staff. We had our transom completely rehauled and repainted, bottom paint, trim on side windows repainted and a new thru hull installed. (Note, it is a miracle that the one installed by the old yard crew 2 years ago did not sink our boat) The attention to detail and quality workmanship by Eric, Cam, Adam and Seth was fantastic and cannot be overstated. Lori in the office was also very responsive and helpful. Though it is very disappointing that the new ownership will not allow boat owners to do work on their own boats in the yard (we will go elsewhere for that), for work that needs to be outsourced, we cannot recommend their work highly enough. Thanks again Tony and staff!

5 starts PLUS.. Let me tell you. Tony and his team single handedly salvaged the reputation of Boaters World for me. I had a poor experience with Boaters world of Bradenton FL regarding the purchase of the motor that had really soured my opinion of the company and I had no faith going forward with a 5 hour drive to have Tony do my install at Boaters World of Williamsburg. However, once the "ball" was passed from Bradenton to Tony at Williamsburg, it was a whole different experience. Tony was onto top of everything. He understood my concern and his communication was top notch. He got me scheduled quickly. And the work was first class. He certainly left me a very happy customer for my drive home. The boat yard and shops were clean and organized. The marina where they are located is beautiful. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND Tony and his team.

Boaters World is new to our marina and area. They bring high expectations to the service and sales of all types of boating. Right now they are focused on service, and staffing their new location to service all types of boats, engines and equipment. They have recently done a major clean up and preparation of the boat yard and buildings. One of the talents they hired is Seth Forrest, a well known painter and restoration tech in the South Bay area. I took the opportunity to have him paint our Sea Ray 510 fly from the rail down including the bottom. What an amazing mirror shine black paint job it was! Seth even went to great lengths in sanding, smoothing and preparing the bottom for paint. It’s extra work, but noticeably better and more efficient than any other job I’ve had. Plus it was all done on time and as promised and then some. I highly recommend his services and expect all services to meat the high expectations as they come on line and grow.
