Boat Ramp at Wateree Dam

Clean boat ramp. Plenty of parking available. This boat ramp has the life jacket program by SCDNR. There is steps and a small rocky beach area to the left of the boat ramp if you are looking down it. It is a tough place to swim because it is very rocky, but it is a nice little place to skip rocks and fish safely away from the boat ramp. We enjoy spending time their with our older kids.

Well kept ramp with plenty of room and lots of parking

Very large area. Plenty of room to get the boat in. Around lunch time the jet ski traffic got really heavy.

Best place to go for peaceful boating and catfish

Went to the shoreline to fish. Gorgeous area as long as you don't mind trash on the ground, broken glass scattered around, lots of can tops from people opening cans and just tossing the can tops. I just wanted to do some fishing, but yeah seeing the trash, and glass on the ground is quite a disappointment. Why people can't clean up behind themselves is beyond me. It's too bad.
