Not only does it have the boat ramp, which cost about 7or 8 dollars to launch that takes you directly into lake Huron it also has a great dog park right next to it! Great place to go in the summer

Never used the boat ramp, but I noticed that there's plenty of parking after your boat is in the water. Plenty of room for maneuvering your truck and boat trailer around, I would definitely use it if I had a boat.

Good ramp. 2 boats at a time. Parking can be a little tight, but normally it is good.

Alpena has things all wrong. I wonder why I should have to pay $7 to launch a boat when there are skate parks and walking trails tennis courts and basketball hoops Etc that are free? Why should I be penalized just because I enjoy a different sport?

Quick spot to load and unload the boat. Only one thing that makes it not so great, all the vehicles that dont have boat trailers attached. I have a season pass to park there for my boat and dont have room to park because off all the employees at various businesses. DNR really need to start giving tickets to those that dont have a pass on their trailers.
