I have a 1990 boat and its all i can afford, but we love it. They took me in and charged me appropriately for the keel damage. Rons wanted literally 7x more with no hesitation after i explained i dont have that much money.

Called tons of shops in Havasu & many wanted me to wait months & even charged almost double for this repair! They made getting a quote impossible! Rod instantly gave me a quote for the repair and gave me an exact date to drop off, great friendly guy in person. Super honest & straight to the point, not trying to just upsell you on whatever he can. I’m 21 with little boat experience but he definitely didn’t try to just upsell like other shops did. He did exactly what he said he’d fix & even helped me out by touching up a couple deep scratches on my boat completely free. He gave me a date on pickup and it was ready exactly on that date only a COUPLE days later on said day. I’m very happy with the repair & customer service. The boat looks great, customer service A+, work 10/10, communication above & beyond and most importantly, fair prices. Great guy, will be referring him to others to fix their boats. Rod was absolutely great to deal with! Small biz can be so demanding but he still took time out of his day to answer all questions and explain the process in depth. Very professional and knowledgeable. One of the few left where quality comes above all else and it shows. My boats fiberglass and rub rail was significantly damaged during a big storm in Havasu. I was referred to Rod at the Boat Body Shop. When I arrived Rod immediately assessed the damage and shared with me exactly what needed to be done. I was skeptical at first because I couldn't fathom how anyone could be good enough to fix the damage that had been done. Well, Rod proved me wrong! His bid was fair, his timeline was accurate, communication was on point and I was blown away when I picked up my boat. It looked brand new!! Literally flawless, so much so I was nervous driving it at first after having owned it for years! How could he repair all this damage and make a 20yr old boat look brand new?? This man is a professional and a master at his craft with over 30yrs of experience. Don't waste your time researching further or comparing prices! We are so impressed with the job that Boat Body Shop did on your 2002 Kachina. We are the 3rd owner and it looks better than the day we bought it by far! He fixed all the small flaws and scratches. Price was exactly as quoted and finished in a timely manner. Well worth the drive from Phoenix to have this professional job done!
