Been fishing here since I was 3. Only been arrested there once. Lock your car if your going to be away long. Lots of other people that can't afford to go out on a boat trip but can afford to cruise by and check your door to make sure you didn't forget your wallet when you left. Be safe

So grateful this place had a bathroom. I stopped at 3 different parks to pee and none had bathrooms. I just about peed my pants before I found this boat ramp. After going to bathroom I sat in parking lot for a bit it was really relaxing and quiet and fun watching a few doe and their fawn wander nearby. Pretty decent view too. I really enjoyed this place.

I love the Black Point boat launch! It's got a great view of the Petaluma river. Plenty of parking. Picnic benches, bath rooms, an area to clean your fish. And the people are really friendly too. Even the sherriff! They post pictures of which fish are safe to eat for specific age groups. I think that's really important for our the safety of our community. Thanks!!!
