Belle Hatchee Marina

DIY marina boat yard. Very friendly and reasonable prices for service and dockage.

Tucked away just off SR 80 in La Belle is a DIY Marina with dry dock facilities, a generously sized ramp, fuel, and slips. The Marina is centered around a 1911 Sears, Roebuck Kit House which makes this a great spot to enjoy a bit of time travel. Everyone here is very friendly and some people spend a few months working on and living aboard.

Wonderful old Florida style Marina nestled among the Oak Trees just off the Caloosatchee River in their private channel. New owner's, The Mahan's have done so much to clean up the Marina and continue to work on improvements and expansion. They are working to make this place even more special. The original Queen Anne style farm house serves as the Marina office and lounge area for guests. The country porch is a delightful place to sit and the bell shaped swimming pool is delightful.

This marina isn’t all new, uppity and sterile; it’s a true “Old Florida” gem. It’s charming and such a great community of boaters working on their boats, sharing knowledge, and living our best lives! The owners, LS and Kay, are so very helpful and welcoming. The yard manager, Robert, is amazing and can get boats in and out safely, no matter the boat!!! This is a unique place to get your boat on!!!

Outrageous place, history is great. You need a tour guide. Place may be changing hands...but it has been cleaned up. Wild!
