Back on the water boat repair

Based on the 4 and a half stars this business rated, I reached out to this shop for a windshield leak repair and for mold inspection. After the inspection was completed I was directed to submit a claim through my insurance company (with a possibility it would not be covered) and indeed, that was the case. I asked if the front window could be sealed and agrees to do so. I never thought to ask what the resealing would consist of. Bad mistake! Upon our arrival, my husband noticed silicone was applied around the glass (it was maybe one single application of the cheapest silicone they had). We were charged $200 for the estimate and $250 for the silicone application. Something we could have done at home buying the best silicone option possible and sealing it correctly. I recommend you ask questions about what will be done first. This shop will definitely not be a choice in the future nor will I recommend.

Told me if it was something simple they could potentially have it out same day, trailered my boat all the way up to the facility and they have the wrong address on their website and he never told me when I spoke to him over the phone, then they said they wouldn’t even look at it the same day that it would have to be the next day after I finally got there, never message me back till 8pm the next day and told me the carburetor needed to be rebuilt which is a very minor task and quoted me 400 bucks and said it would take a full week, I just rebuilt the carburetor so I decided to take it to another place, I got there to pick up my boat and they never even looked at it, I had a feeling they were gonna do this so I put a piece of tape on the cover plate of my engine and it was still there, if they took a look it would’ve been ripped and they tried to charge me 400 dollars for something they didn’t diagnose, got the problem fixed for 130 bucks down the street and it was a leaking fuel line, had nothing to do with the carburetor, it was a huge waste of time. I get it I don’t have the nicest boat and it’s fine if you don’t think you can make a bunch of money off of me but I’d rather just not be lied to, I wouldn’t bother with this place, I’ve done a lot of work with mechanics and I’ve always been around them growing up with my trucks and cars, it’s rare to see this kind of treatment but it happens

My insurance adjuster recommended this place. I have to say I was very pleased with their service. My rv was in and out! The roof came out great and it only took them a week to get it done! Speedy service highly recommended!!!

Fast work, helped me work with the insurance company to get details worked out. New roof looks great, also did some touch up work to ensure no new leaks. Overall would highly recommend.
