Acworth beach boat ramp

The Acworth beach and boat access was an okay”location for a Stand Up Paddle (SUP) board afternoon adventure. This site, the beach area, picnic areas, and boat ramp areas were very busy on a Saturday June day. Parking was $15 for a non-Acworth resident. Comparing the Lake Acworth South shore access and Acworth beach, I prefer the South Shore. I am looking for a less crowded, quieter, more tranquil experience. Parking is also $5 less at the South Shore access. I don’t think I will come back to this location. It is too busy for the quiet water experience I look gorgeous

Very nice beach I just recently discovered this beach and the lake which is next door to it. I love how big it is you can set up a tent, bring your cooler and a nice cool snack and enjoy yourself. We went on a Saturday and it was pretty hot but the kids enjoy playing in the water and sand. We had our music playing and some nice cold icy water to drink. It was a relaxing experience.

A great place to unwind,throw a beach party,bank fishing and much more.

Nice lake to kayak and watch the sunset! Easy launch from a dock, ramp, or sandy drop in. Lots of wildlife on the east side of the lake in the marshes!

Very nice kayak launch/recovery in the gravel parking lot. People are very friendly and there is plenty of area to kayak around. During summer months they charge $10 to access/park. It helps support the lovely park and clean up. Bring a bag and pick up any trash you find floating.
