I consigned my boat with A Boat Time Marine, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The owner, Matt Baldwin, is incredibly honest and goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. From the moment I brought my boat in, Matt was transparent about the process and committed to getting the best possible outcome.Thanks to his dedication and expertise, my boat was sold quickly and at a great price. I originally brought my boat to Aboat Time 10/2021—it’s now 3/2024 - and my boat is finally running but no thanks to this shop at all. Nothing but a complete nightmare and a waste of time and money. I have had a very long, very bad experience with service AND consignment. When I tried to resolve the issues with the owner, Matthew Baldwin, he took zero accountability. Towed in 3 times during 3 lake tests after being told each time by Matt that the boat was “Lake Ready”. Matt then encouraged me to put the boat on consignment with him, so I did. Matt was unable to sell my boat - I’m guessing because of the shoddy work done by his own shop he could not get it to run properly. It sat and depreciated for 2 years until Matt told me to pick it up because he couldn’t fix it and couldn’t sell it. That was shocking! Don’t waste your time—you get what you pay for and the few dollars less per hour are not worth the headache and time lost from dealing with incompetence. Go to a reputable shop—(I finally did when Aboat Time completely failed at completing anything they promised) and the other shop got the boat running like a champ within a few weeks. Unbelievable!! They also told me several repairs that were on my receipt records from Aboat Time Marine were not even done—-Talk about SHADY! My recommendation based on my experience is AVOID Aboat Time Marine at all costs I’m filing court paperwork on Monday 3/25/2024 to sue Matthew Baldwin -Aboat Time Marine- and I’ve never sued anyone in my entire life… I don’t want to see anyone else go through this and the owner literally thinks he did me a favor…at this point we will let a judge decide and hopefully this nightmare experience doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Saw their post on OfferUp and decided to go in and check it out. Right away greeted by all 3 office people and got the pleasure of working a deal with Mel! Mel and the team got me in and out with a happy down payment and monthly payments. Definitely recommend them for a fair and honest deal, and the communication they gave me. Thanks again Mel!

This is a long over due review as we’ve had our boat for several months now- we found Matt and his shop by accident when we were shopping on a whim, and I’m so glad we did! Matt helped us get into the perfect boat for our family. He is honest, knowledgeable, and fair. We have had so much fun and countless memories with our kids, and the boat has been nothing but fantastic, it’s everything Matt said it was! It’s so nice knowing we can load up and go without worry.
