He told me the fuel tank had water in it. Sad he rebuilt my carburetors. Said the motor and the tank had water in it. A month later I drain the fuel tank and there was not one drop of water in it. He charge me $500. Another boat mechanic looked at it and said the carbs was never removed... He ripped me a good one. It won't happen again. He is a thief. Stay away from this human. His name is Dale.

Dale replaced a gimble bearing in the lower unit for us. Now our boat isn’t perfect but is well maintained, we received our boat in Timely manor.. The Boat does run phenomenal now & was priced right! Although when we received the boat there was a tear in the seat!!! Nobody said anything at all.. but you know what accidents happen.. I stopped by today & had a conversation with Dale. This is a 2004 boat, so it’s not perfect. But He offered to make it right with us, & I would recommend this man & his shop to anybody. He is an honest man.

I have used Dale at 830 Marine for many years for any and all repairs on my boats. He is top notch at what he does and his prices are way more affordable than others I have dealt with in the past. His wife Judy who does the book keeping and answers the phone while Dale repairs boats is a very nice person to deal with also. I highly recommend this boat repair service to anyone looking for a good and honest boat mechanic around Lake Conroe.

Dale was the only person in the area (I called over 10 boat repair shops) who agreed to accept us on the Thursday before Labor Day weekend at a last minute notice. He did all we asked for at a reasonable price, even things that we wanted to get taken care of, but were not urgent. Dale came to our boat to adjust the carb when it was already in the water on the weekend at no extra charge. He was very responsive to my calls and sms over the whole weekend. Thank you, Dale!

After dropping our boat in the water for our 4 day vacation, which had been planned for 6 months, we realized our boat wouldn't accelerate. We probably called every mechanic we could find on/near Lake Conroe. Tim was the only person who was able to help us out. He fixed our boat within a couple hours of us calling. The price was extremely reasonable and the service was great. We're so thankful!!
